If you are worried, upset or need help and want to talk to someone for advice there are lots of different organisations that provide free phone lines for children and young people.

While it is really important to share your worries and concerns with an adult you know, like someone in your family or a teacher, sometimes it can help to get some advice from someone else, too.

ChildLine – call 0800 1111 or visit Childline

This is a free helpline for children and young people in the UK. You can talk about any problem you have.

Talk to Frank – call 0800 77 66 00 or visit Talk To Frank

This is a free helpline for children and young people wanting advice or worried about drugs.

If you or someone else are in immediate danger you should always call the emergency services (fire, ambulance or police) by dialling 999.

Remember, if something worrying or upsetting has happened to you or someone you know, it is always better to tell and get help. Your teachers and family might not know anything is going on until someone tells them.
